About
The Knights of Rizal - Astoria Chapter is a non-sectarian, non-partisan, civic, patriotic, and cultural organization chartered in December 2022 in the Philippine Consulate in New York under Republic Act 646 of the Philippines. The Order of the Knights of Rizal is dedicated to honoring the values, teachings, and legacy of Dr. José Rizal, the Philippine national hero.
We believe that the foundation of progress in our nations begins with one's personal growth—uplifting ourselves, inspiring our families, empowering our organization, and strengthening our communities. By embracing Rizal’s ideals, we envision a world of freedom: freedom from hunger, freedom from injustice, freedom from violence, freedom from ignorance, freedom from fear, and freedom to aspire for a better tomorrow.
